The F-1 Firearms DuraBolt Gold bolt carrier group is designed for AR15 platforms. This direct impingement, full-auto rated M16/M4 bolt carrier group is compatible with MIL-SPEC receivers and related components. It features a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) TiN coating, which provides a gold mirror finish. This coating is resistant to corrosion and offers durability. The lubricity of the coating is rated with a 0.45 coefficient of friction.
The bolt is made from Carpenter 158 steel and is ground after heat treatment. It has been Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) and High Pressure Tested (HPT). The carrier is constructed from 8620 steel and is also ground after heat treatment.
