The F-1 Firearms 5.56 DuraBolt Black (DLC) Bolt Carrier Group is designed for AR15 platforms. This direct impingement, full-auto rated M16/M4 bolt carrier group is compatible with MIL-SPEC receivers and their components. It features a Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) coating, which provides a durable and corrosion-resistant black mirror finish. The DuraBolt Black coating also offers a 0.01 coefficient of friction.
The bolt is made from Carpenter 158 steel and is ground after heat treatment. The 8620 steel carrier is also ground after heat treatment. This bolt carrier group is Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) and High-Pressure Tested (HPT).
